Cookie Shots at Pillows Hotel

I've been wanting to try cookie shots after seeing some photos around Instagram but I couldn't find any accessible Cebu restaurants that offered them. So I was quite stoked to find that newly opened Pillows Hotel (located near Coco mall and HP, block next to Cebu Doctors' University Hospital back entrance) had them.

After dinner, my girlfriends and I drove over to the hotel and parked inside the hotel's small but convenient (no need to park on the side of the street) parking area, then walked inside to find their artsy little cafe and ordered what we went specifically for - cookie shots! Ahh, as I'm not much to drink a lot of alcohol, these are definitely my kind of shots!

The cookie shots also have Peppermint flavored options. We ordered a flan jar as well - these are leche flans in a jar. Leche flans are one of my favorite desserts so I particularly loved how rich this was. I wonder how many eggs they included in the recipe. Yum!

Unfortunately, I didn't take note of the price but if I'm not mistaken, I think the shots were only P45 each.
I didn't really know what to expect. I poured the milk and filled the cookie shot to the brim out of excitement. Not the best move. See the spill on the table? Oh well. The cookie was good but a little too hard for my preference in cookies. (I love soft and chewy cookies.) But then how else could they form a shot glass out of the cookie if it's any softer, right? Ended up wishing there was more milk because hey, milk and cookies? Yes, please!

The cafe also has an ambiance conducive for quality time with your friends with a well designed aesthetic too. Love how they customized their placemats and this wall art over here to illustrate the hotel's slogan - "Sleep, dream, imagine."
