It's our 3rd day here and I have just gotten mobile internet. I've missed you, blog world!
If you follow me on Instagram, then you'd know that my friends threw Kenny and I a surprise party. They invited us to our friend's "birthday party" so we even went to the event with a birthday gift in hand. Once we got there, they yelled "surprise!!!" complete with party poppers/confetti. It was such a sweet gesture and we definitely cried tears of joy that night. We have AWESOME friends!! They even had audio/visual presentations ready. Wish we didn't have to leave but life leads us to different roads sometimes.. One thing's for sure, our friends will forever be a part of us. :)
Guess it was perfect timing that I was wearing this black and gold outfit that day. I bought the top 3 years ago from a Hong Kong brand, Monki, while the skirt was gifted by a friend. I had to leave the gold heels behind in Cebu so of course I had to at least feature it for an outfit post!
I didn't cry as much as I expected when we left. Maybe it was because I had a year to prepare to leave the country. But still, I miss my friends and I can't wait for the time when I get to see them again.
Until then, I have to focus on settling in and accomplishing all the goals I set out to complete this year.
