Natureby Face Masks From Nice Skin Australia [REVIEW]
Happy 2019 everyone and I hope you're having a lovely start of the year. I personally think that everyone should include taking better care of yourself as part of your annual goals. For me, this includes giving myself pamper sessions with emphasis on skin care. The importance of moisturising is not lost on me and the more I age, the more I prioritise this. It's never too early to start! Whenever I can, I try to incorporate face masks into my weekly beauty routine. So read on as I share with you my thoughts on some of Natureby's mask sheets from https://niceskin.com.au/.
A background on my skin type
While I would not classify my skin type to be acne-prone, I do get the occasional breakout of pimples here and there. And when I scar, oh boy do I scar. I have combination skin with dry spots and lots of oily areas. So my skin goals are basically just to aim for clearer and healthier skin.
COLLAGEN ESSENCE MASK SHEET
Collagen is known to aid in skin elasticity. This mask aims to reduce fine lines and skin dryness.

AVOCADO ESSENCE MASK SHEET

Snail essence aims to reduce signs of skin ageing, hydrate the skin, and assist with fading acne scarring and dark spots.

MY THOUGHTS and HOW TO USE
After cleansing skin, apply face sheet masks for 15-30 minutes. Do not rinse off, and allow excess serum to be absorbed. I personally like to generously apply excess serum to my neck and even my elbows. What I liked about these masks was that it was easy to move and press to fit on the face. I mean, other face masks flap incorrectly on the face making me feel like I'm wasting some valuable sheet space. But these ones fit quite well.
These face masks only cost $2.50 (AUD) each, making it one of the cheapest face masks I have encountered being sold locally in Australia. Having said that, I don't expect these sheet masks to be miracle workers. However, as a Kbeauty believer, I do expect these to be effective in hydrating skin - which they were.
You can apply it as a cold mask by putting the pack in the refrigerator before use, or use it warm by putting the sealed pack in warm water for 2-3 minutes. I usually just go ahead and use them at room temperature. Although, I cooled an avocado mask sheet before use after a day at the beach - this was a treat! This allowed my skin to feel rehydrated - as if I hadn't spent the day under the sun.
My favourite among the three would have to be the Snail Essence Mask which left my skin smoother and more hydrated and I woke up the next day with a fresh face.
Have you tried Natureby's face masks before? Which one is your favorite?
Always,
Jeanne

ReplyDeleteI love that there are so many different options for face masks now. Ooh, I haven't heard of the avocado essence mask before. I know it's definitely good for you! I hear so much about snail slime being good for your skin but I am skeptical about it @__@. Glad you enjoyed the sheets overall!

I've definitely started the year off with the promise to take better care of my skin. I love face masks, they're so effective and easy to use. I usually buy Sephora or Dr Jart masks but they always sell out so thanks for introducing me to some more!
